With plush offices in Westminster, they are conveniently located to service both West End and City clients.

The Role:

This role will cover a broad range of commercial/contentious media matters including: copyright, computer games, trademark work, advertising/promotions, gambling and sponsorship advice.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to really develop their career whilst working with some of the industry’s most distinguished IP/Media lawyers.

Main Responsibilities:

* To take responsibility for day-to-day matter management, including direct contact with clients and client care, attendance at meetings and managing the billing process
* To be actively involved in marketing and cross-selling the team and the firm’s services to new and existing clients
* To contribute and participate in departmental and firm know-how development, training and risk management
* To adopt and uphold the firm’s values and professional standards
* To contribute to managing the relationships with existing clients in accordance with the firm’s missions and vision - by creating solutions and delivering a “first choice” level of service

The Successful Candidate:

The successful candidate will shadow the firm’s Commercial IP/Media solicitors in advising clients active in online media, sports, sponsorship, and the advertising and promotions sector including CAP codes.
A talented lawyer willing to gain exposure to IP/Media litigation, applicants will have a strong IT awareness, and a very keen interest in the industry.

Organised, responsive and able to work with minimum supervision and direction, they will thrive in a high-pressured working environment. Socially confident and client-facing, this solicitor will be able and willing to contribute to the growth of the firm through industry networking.
