Over the last 10 years we have seen a change in the way recruitment agencies are perceived within the industry. Although they do offer a ‘cheap’ alternative to external headhunting, they are rapidly losing their credibility with both the candidates and clients.

Their ‘make a quick buck’ attitude to recruitment is certainly not in the candidate’s best interest and we know many companies are unhappy with the ‘send as many CV’s as possible and hope something sticks’ approach.

We offer a service where the candidate knows that upon speaking to an Emerson Chase consultant they will be offered a confidential service where they will work hand in hand with the consultant, safe in the knowledge that their personal details will not be discussed or sent anywhere without their permission. We will use our recruitment skills to understand a candidates expectations and future career aspirations, and ensure we only approach them for roles that meet these criteria.

Our clients appreciate the way in which we help the recruitment process flow. Our consultants will ensure only suitably qualified CV’s are submitted for the role, allowing the client more time to deal with day to day business. We will offer our matching skills, interviewing and screening process, and counseling through the interview and resignation process as standard. Again this ensures we take away the majority of work for our client and make the process flow smoothly.

By offering a contingency service, we are by no means lowering our standards. We are now able to assist clients with all positions within the legal profession, both technical and sales and marketing. Our clients will be able to post their vacancies online, check regularly on progress reports and if we are unable to secure the right candidate for the role through these means, they can engage us using our external proactive headhunting skills. In short, we are now able to deal with all of our clients requirements, either on a contingency or headhunting basis.
