The Role:

Cripps Harries Hall LLP is one of only a small handful of firms which has a dedicated team specialising in disputes about wills, estates, trusts, inheritance tax and related issues.

It is a very much a growing area of work for them and draws upon their acknowledged expertise in both private client work and dispute resolution matters. The firm aim to provide clients with practical and realistic advice in order to avoid litigation wherever possible.

Because of the small size of the team the applicant will have an opportunity to deal with a wide range of work. There will be a lot of direct client contact and the partners specialising in this work will be close at hand to guide and mentor. The applicant will gain experience of defending claims in both the High Court and County Courts in addition to dealing with the Court of Protection.

The Successful Candidate:

The firm are keen to stay at the forefront of this emerging area of law and are looking for a talented and skilful lawyer, ideally with experience of, but certainly an interest in, the contentious side of trust and estates work.

The Benefits:

Salary reviewed annually in May. There will be 25 days holiday pa. In addition, other benefits will be available after a suitable qualifying period: a contributory pension scheme, free private medical care; free permanent health insurance and free life cover.
