The Role:

We are looking for junior financial litigators to join the Financial Litigation group of their highly regarded Financial Markets Department. Applicants should have trained and qualified with a leading, ideally City firm with a minimum of two years’ Financial Litigation experience. Some insurance litigation experience would also be useful.

The group’s practice reflects the firm’s non-contentious financial markets practice and focuses exclusively on contentious work for financial institutions. Members of the group work alongside our non-contentious and transactional financial markets lawyers and have constant exposure to the business of financial institutions. The team has extensive experience of disputes concerning asset management, banking, brokerage, capital markets, derivatives, insurance and structured finance. In addition to expertise in the wholesale markets, the group also has substantial experience of disputes in the private banking and private capital sector.

As usual, we seek candidates with excellent academics who are genuine self starters. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding international finance practice, working in a highly respected and supportive team.

The Financial Litigation group in London forms part of the firm’s wider international financial markets practice. It comprises 6 partners, 9 solicitors and 5 trainee solicitors.
