As you would expect, the team acts on some of the highest profile deals and for most of the highest profile institutions in the market. They act for banks, financial institutions, developers,investors and property companies.They also work both for the lending institutions and borrowers.

There are 30 legal staff and 8 secretaries in the Real Estate Finance Team.

The Successful Candidate:

The firm are currently seeking to recruit between 2+ years post qualification experience to work in the real estate finance area.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious and enterprising with an ability to devise practical solutions to resolve technical issues within transaction timetables. Self-confidence and an outgoing personality will be important attributes.

Due to the profile of the team and of the firm, these vacancies represent an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance lawyer wishing to maximise his or her transaction experience and career prospects.

They would expect the candidate who joins them to become involved in all aspects of the work that the firm do and at the level that you feel comfortable with.
There will be opportunities for the candidate to take either senior or junior positions in transactions depending on how comfortable they feel with what they are doing. The partners provide a highly supportive position, working with the candidate to ensure that the right balance is achieved.

In due course the successful candidate will find himself or herself working at a senior level running transactions and managing deals. This will involve working both with the team and with other departments in the firm. Teamwork is, therefore, extremely important.
Non fee earning activities are important to them. Candidates will be encouraged to participate in the team’s marketing initiatives at all levels. They will also be encouraged to come up with ideas and to implement them. The firm believe the ongoing success of our business is routed in the clients establishing a good relationships with the team at all levels.
