The Role:

BRI is part of the firm’s finance practice stream. The group deals with all aspects of restructuring and insolvency, together with a wide range of general commercial and banking matters. They have particular expertise in cross-border assignments.

The majority of their recent assignments have required and continue to demand close co-operation between London and overseas teams across their global practice area.

They are increasingly active in bondholder restructurings, having advised debtors on strategies to defend themselves against attack from distressed investor groups. They also advise issuers and noteholder groups on major cross-border restructurings. The BRI practice area has strong global relationships with all of the big four accountancy practices as well as other key players.

They currently have a particular need for lawyers with between one to five years’ pqe.
