With 84 partners and approximately 500 staff in total, they are a mid-sized City firm based in Central London.
Their practice areas are Business & Finance, Real Estate, Dispute Resolution and Tax & Private Capital.

The Role:

The firm’s Corporate group provides advice on IPOs, secondary capital issues, takeovers, re-organisations, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. They work alongside (and often also advise) financial intermediaries and other professionals to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of transactions for their clients.
Clients range from FTSE 100 companies and their boards, large institutions and international corporations to smaller quoted and unquoted companies and the entrepreneurs who drive them.
Whilst the team works with all industry sectors, they have a solid client base in the leisure, retail, financial and publishing industries.

The Successful Candidate:

The firm are looking for high flyers who are commercially minded, able to give practical legal advice, and who are client orientated to join the expanding team.

Whilst the firm are looking for excellent all round corporate lawyers, they are also looking specifically at the 5 year plus level for someone with experience of investments funds & schemes in a regulatory context. The candidate may come from a US firm or Magic Circle looking for a slightly broader range of work.
